Job description
- Leads large projects or processes of complex scope, with limited oversight from manager.
- Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower-level professionals.
- Assists in the development of operational plan and implements for areas of assigned responsibilities.
- Identifies continuous improvement/automation activities.
- Determines method of research for the planning, design development and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, and/or machines.
- Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage multiple ongoing projects on time on schedule and subject matter expert supporting manufacturing plants.
What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position?
Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering field; or 6 years and a master's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP Certification
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Works, and Inventor
Proficiency in Machine Design, specifically US Standard (ANSI & NFPA), PFMEA Analysis, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Design, Variable Frequency Drives, Servos, Gearboxes, Conveyors
