Certs: BLS (must be AHA), NRP
2 years experience (will take 1.5yrs)
Weekend: every third weekend
Holiday: Rotate with core staff

# of beds: 13 LD beds + 4 overflow, 35 PP beds, 8 Triage beds
Approx. 3200 deliveries a year
Ratios: Laboring 1:1 or 1:2; Antepartum 1:3-4 depending on level of acuity, PP separate unit: will not float to unit,
High risk OB to low risk OB high risk population hypertension , level 3 NICU in house no surgeries , 23 week, multiple gestation, DM, Abnormal placentation HIV also care for high risk Antepartum patients Mother who deliver routinely are discharged 2 days after delivery C-Sections stay 3 days some Antepartum patients can stay from 1 to several days or even several months waiting to deliver
