Description:

General Avionics Engineering with experience doing work on the floor in an operational environment is what I am really looking floor. The ideal candidate should have experience with redlining drawings and documents while in an operations environment. This position will be for 4^th shift (though initially on 1^st shift to get process familiarity) meaning Weekend Nights.

Below is some of what we are looking for:

• • Maintain avionics and Flight test instrumentation systems in an operational environment
  • Aircraft electrical system design and component selection
  • Develop, integrate and operate avionics systems to meet requirements, company standards and Federal Regulations
  • Assist in connectivity and routing of wiring harnesses and mechanical configuration of top-level assembly

Nice to haves:

• • Design and development of flight test instrumentation systems in close collaboration with Avionics and other engineering disciplines
  • Selection of sensors for flight test instrumentation including strain gauges, thermocouples, and pressure transducers
  • Create installation definition for flight test instrumentation
  • Support other departments regarding flight test instrumentation sensor integration
