Hospice Nursing supervisor

Location: Santa Maria, CA

Job Type: Perm Full Time

Hours: 40 Hours In a week

Schedule: Days, 8-5. Rotating on-call. Possibly have hours outside of 8-5.

Salary: $125,000.00 per year

Bonus Structure $10,000 sign on

Start Date: Asap

Job Description: In this role, you will provide overall supervision of direct and indirect patient care for nursing and staff. You will guide the team, assure quality care to the patient throughout the nursing process and ensure staff competency.

Logistics

  • Meet the needs of hospice patients in San Luis Obispo County to Northern Santa Barbara County
  • After hours and weekend call coverage - rotating basis

Safety

  • Safety for our staff is our highest priority
  • COVID policies and processes in place to minimize exposure

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years of supervisor experience within the last five years in a hospice, home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility.
  • Sufficient background knowledge and expertise in clinical decision-making for the patient population.
  • Current California RN license and CPR-AHA certification.
  • Current California Driver's License with proof of liability insurance for automobile.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a Registered Nurse and/or in-home health, clinic, hospice, long term care, or population health.
