Description/Comment:

• The Manufacturing Planner performs and/or coordinates the detailed planning, scheduling and expediting for specific product lines to meet master schedule and customer order requirements.
• The incumbent is responsible for maintaining inventory levels supporting production, service and customer requirements while maintaining economic control of inventories; coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering.
• Empowerment and initiative are exercised and required in resolving problems and contributing recommendations.
• Must be able to collect, analyze and interpret mfg data in order to make decisions that may impact production, personnel or processes.
• Must be able to prioritize own assignments, while focusing on key tasks despite limited time and resources.
• Must be able to keep projects or critical tasks moving when delays or problems occur.
• Must be willing to participate with department teams to improve processes.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills that build and enhance solid working relationships that promote collaboration and cooperation.
• Bachelor s Degree, a minimum of 5 yrs Mfg experience, advanced knowledge of manufacturing MRP and Planning. APICS certification preferred.
