Description: Description Sr. Business Analyst You're empowered to do your best by supporting the Business Initiatives Team. The Senior Business Analyst will conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes. A general job profile includes working with less structured, more complex issues and serving as a resource to others with little or no direction. This role will directly be supporting the Musculoskeletal business on PH Accent, focusing on gathering business requirements for IT enhancements and implementations, supporting problem tickets for PH Accent users, and coordinating enhancements/maintenance for the Provider Credentialing System (PCS) product within ClientHealth. IDEAL BACGKROUND: Healthcare background would be preferred, but not required. Ideal candidate would have solid BA skills and have background with Agile and understand how to gather requirements in the form of user stories/acceptance criteria and work with development teams for prioritizing enhancement work. TEAM STRUCTURE: Team is evolving in Agile, so currently the BA works to with business to provide requirements to development team but does not. INTERVIEW PROCESS: Interviews will consist of one round with me and potentially another manager. Video interview through Teams with all candidates. Interviews will be structured using CLL based situation/behavior/outcome questions focusing on all attributes of BA skills and will not solely be based on technical skills. Core Accountabilities Conduct business process analysis to identify key business issues, gaps or needs Document 'as-is' and 'to-be' business processes Evaluate and validate analysis and develop recommendations Recognize gaps between current situation and desired outcome and utilize appropriate resources to obtain information, consider options, document recommendations and deliver the appropriate solution Gather business requirements to support operational process improvements and client implementations Gain extensive understanding of business processes and application architecture to serve as a valuable resource for understanding what should be captured to ensure high quality requirements. Leading requirements walk-through sessions to gain consensus resulting and sign off in order to initiate development for technology related projects or the implementation of new or enhanced business processes. Analyze root cause issue, problem solve and provide key recommendations for process improvements Resolve complex business problems (technical, product, service, process, operations, organizational) that affect multiple functions/disciplines and/or customers (internal/external) and develop innovative solutions Work across a matrix environment to engage appropriate internal and external partners to assure successful analysis, option determination and tactical execution Manage issues, risks, project work and deliverables Ensure issue identification, understanding and buy-in of proposed solutions occurs from key operations, product and technology business partners Effectively engage and partner with cross-functional teams to create and deliver solutions Qualifications Successful candidates for this position will be highly motivated, self-starting and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the success of the team and Business Initiatives. Required: (Candidates who do not meet these requirements will automatically be rejected) Bachelor's Degree Required 3+ Years of experience gathering requirements and documenting processes 3 + Years of Business Analysis experience Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Word Intermediate skills in PowerPoint and Visio Strong executive communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities. Ability to gain acceptance for ideas, plans, actions and then implement flawlessly across organizational boundaries. Agile/SCRUM- formal methodologies Preferred: (Manager preferences that are not requirements for the role) Familiarity with Client and Client's products & services Healthcare experience LEAN or Six Sigma experience
