Job Description
The client is looking for a SDET/Software Test Specialist. This is a remote position (link removed) As a SDET/Software Test Specialist, you will be in charge of team managing test data and environment, hands on validation and certification of software readiness.
What will your job look like?
You will lead, mentor small teams of functional, automation and nonfunctional testing within aspecific project or product; ensure all the project agreed deliverables are completed to the required level of quality and promotes team engagement and motivation.
You will provide technical & professional leadership to the testing team members.
You will provide input to on the test estimations; plan resource needs and ensure effective task allocation.
You will plan testing activities milestones; identify and analyze risks and their potential business impact to determine proper prioritization of the testing activities.
You will ensure integrative coverage of test scenarios.
You will effectively lead formal and informal reviews with stakeholders, applying experience and knowledge providing technical and managerial perspective.
You will act as technical interface with other teams to resolve and promote issues, communicate plans and conclusions as well as recommendations for issue closure.
You will support and promote test efficiency and optimization initiatives.
Identify and implement optimization for making the Test Data creation process efficient and faster.
Responsible for servicing Test Data requests (Accounts creation, Conditioning, etc) based on assigned priorities.
Allocate and manage Test Data on various platforms using TDM tools.
Automate Test Data creation processes
All you need is
Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing /industrial engineering or equivalent/system analysis.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a software testing SDLC environment and methodologies.
In-depth knowledge in the Quality Engineering domain (Methods & testing tools functional).
Experience in managing Test Data including creation and mining using Data Management tools.
Experience in managing Test Environments for Quality Engineering.
Experience in leading tasks and/or mentoring testers.
Telecom experience/knowledge.
Client's business and cross portfolio knowledge.
