Please share your resume @ anuj.k@inficare.com or call/Text @ +1 703 652 4779 Type of Position: Allied PET CT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour days State license requirement: CA Nuclear license Start date: 5/8 Pay rate: $80/hourly Geographical location of client: Eureka, CA Job Summary The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic nuclear radiology imaging and therapeutic treatment on all patient populations with an emphasis on pediatric patients. Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies. Coordinates and participates in a variety of technical procedures to include the operation of radiation detection and measuring instrumentation, including stationary imaging devices, scintillation gamma cameras and PET/CT. Follows applicable policies and procedures in handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment. Experience Required: Minimum one year of experience in acute care hospital setting. Preferred: Two (2) or more years of pediatric Nuclear Medicine experience. Education - Required: Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.
Specialized Skills - Required: Ability to work under pressure. Able to be a team player; exhibit compassion for the pediatric patient/parents. Demonstrate competency and observance of sterile technique.
Licensure - CA Nuclear license & Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Environments - Functional Demand: Sedentary - Very light energy level Lift 10 lbs. box overhead. Lift and carry 15 lbs. Push/pull 20 lbs. cart.
