Remote JD: 5 years of Service Now experience in the areas of Service Now CMDB 5 years of people and client management experience in a consultative environment Service Now Product Owner certification is strongly desired Analyze and document business requirements related to Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processes, data, and integrations. Design and implement CMDB solutions that adhere to industry best practices and align with business objectives. Strong understanding of CMDB principles, concepts, and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define CMDB requirements, data standards, and data models. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and adapt to changing requirements. Perform data analysis to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, anomalies, and discrepancies in the CMDB. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Assist in the development of CMDB documentation, including policies, procedures, and user guides. Advanced proficiency with user Agile story definition, acceptance criteria writing in addition to facilitating effective refinement sessions. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior CMDB analysts and team members. Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, ITIL principles and IT asset management concepts is a plus. Must be able to meet these Job Responsibilities: 1. CMDB POC supporting ad hoc sessions for guidance, questions, creating KB articles and bringing back enhancements/bugs as epics/stories. 2. With minimal guidance, Support Integration partners with configuration, testing coordination and making sure the integrations stay put when changes occur. a. ML/AI Create end to end workflow to find potential owners on unknown CIs and create feedback to ML/AI to improve algorithm based on user approval/rejection. b. Support Integrations, validation, assist in CI matching issues. c. Create new Database onboarding/decom process and cleaning service accounts related to those getting retired. d. Data Normalization Operating Systems e. Enabling Change Management to use Impact Analysis f. CSDM expansion support implementing Business Service, revisit Deployable Units to align to CSDM taxonomy.
