Virginia Department of Elections (ELECT) is hiring for a QA/UAT Testing Lead.

The candidate will be acting as a Lead and will coordinate UAT for a large enterprise system implementation. They will provide day-to-day coordination for testers from diverse backgrounds, guiding them through the testing protocols while keeping the project on schedule. Testing will involve both internal and external resources, including different State and local government bodies. Prior experience with large project UAT administration, and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization is required. While this is a coordination focused position, the candidate MUST have a background in QA/UAT, script, story and scenario writing and/or reviewing, and developing testing protocols. They will be monitoring and assisting with scripting by other UAT/QA testers. They will have primary responsibility for analyzing test cases, test reviews, and providing regular progress reports to stakeholders both in ELECT and outside organizations. Required Experience: UAT Testing QA Testing Test Script Writing Analysis of Test Cases Agile Experience Documentation/Reporting of Test results to Management Coordination of testing across multiple linked systems Training of Diverse Resources Project Coordination Aligning UAT test scripts to requirements to ensure functionality Experience with Azure Dev Ops Experience presenting to large client groups While this job is primarily remote, candidates are required to be on-site for onboarding during the first day. Candidates must reside within Virginia or a neighboring state and be able and willing to travel to Richmond VA on short notice. This position may require candidate to come onsite for emergencies or during high volume periods, such as elections.
