Title: Shipping Specialist

Pay Rate: $25/hour.

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Shipping Specialsit to work with our client, the world's largest manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits. You'll manage day to day technical, regulatory, administrative, manufacturing, design, and other issues related to one or more medical device product lines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare boxes and maintain stock of packaging materials for assigned or anticipated production and customer order shipments.
• Breakbulk stock and repackage in preparation for pending and future shipments.
• Load and unload delivery trucks using a pallet jack.
• Pick items accurately from stock using SAP and Warehouse management software.
• Maintain warehouse inventory by completing daily cycle counts.
• Package and palletize items with established packaging methods using such tools as tape guns, box sizes, box cutters, bubble wrap, and a pallet wrapping machine.
• Documents such as Commercial Invoices for International Shipments. (Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel will be needed for some documentation.)
• Ship pallets by generating Bills of Lading and setting up pickups using CH Robinson Navisphere, YRC, Khuene + Nagel, UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and other Freight Forwarders where coordinating via email is required.
• Maintain communication via email with Customer Service or other departments to address any shipping requests or issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe area at your workstation as well as the rest of the warehouse.
• Process orders through SAP and generate packing slips as well as other necessary shipping
• Ship parcels through an SAP-integrated shipping program, UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, DHL, or USPS.
• Receive incoming shipments of Purchase Orders into the system using SAP when required.
• Desire and aptitude to advance and grow into career path into other roles in Supply Chain
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with warehouse control preferred shipping of finished goods, and all transactional paperwork and packing list preparation. (preferred)
• Experience with SAP APO/R3 Shipping codes: =functional knowledge of the Transactions in SAP
