Qualifications/ required skills:
5 + years of related experience
MUST be willing to Work primarily in weekend shift and different shift timing on week days on need basis to monitor production system
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to facilitate and lead complex discussions in a mixed technical and business team environment
Experience in monitoring different types of applications, databases, operating systems, network protocols, and web servers.
Must be able to suggest plans to integrate new and existing systems
Must be self-directed and able to work effectively in a diverse team environment with little to no direct supervision
Experience using SCOM and Azure Monitoring/AppInsights monitoring tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability and desire to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities
Experience writing medium to complex level SQL queries, well versed with MS excel to build reports
Experience monitoring overall systems performance to identify potential issues, report, analyze and tune them appropriately.
Knowledge and experience related to IT systems and technologies
Knowledge of common industry hardware, operating systems, monitoring software, tools and utilities, and platforms, in addition to free and open-source tools
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, e.g., word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, and project planning
Must understand technical problems and solutions in relation to current and future business environments
