Qualifications:
Deep Familiarity with federal WIC program policy and policy implementation.
Deep familiarity with WIC management information System (MIS) functions.
Ability to interpret functional and technical requirements for a WIC MIS and translate them into functional design specifications.
Ability to facilitate and lead client meetings, including those for requirement analysis, functional design, and user acceptance testing support.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong functional experience with the following WIC program areas and how they are supported through a WIC MIS:
Certification
Caseload Management
Financial Management
Food benefit issuance including data exchange between an MIS and EBT system and with WIC retailers.
Vendor Management
Rebate management and invoicing
Nutrition education, health surveillance, and referrals
