Job Title: Assistant Lab Tech

Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED
Able to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends and holidays
Basic mathematical skills
Ability to lift up to 100lbs with a second person
Experience in aseptic clean room behaviors and laboratory procedures preferred
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team

Responsibilities:
Looking for a Assistant Laboratory Technician for Manufacturing Operations team for a 6-month project.

The Lab Tech will be responsible for performing laboratory procedures and duties in the production of veterinary products.

Duties include cleaning work area, sterilizing equipment, assisting with equipment setup and operation, performing aseptic procedures, maintaining records and documentation, filling, labeling, capping, packaging and visual inspection of product, and assisting in monitoring and requisitioning laboratory supplies.

The Lab Tech should demonstrate safe work habits and maintain a safe work environment at all times. This position may require working rotating shifts and overtime, weekends and holidays. The Lab Tech should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team.
