Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Database & Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our company's cloud-based database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-based database technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-based database infrastructure
• Optimize database performance and security
• Implement backup and recovery procedures
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop database solutions for various business needs
• Identify and troubleshoot database issues
• Develop and maintain database documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation for database-related issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in database administration or cloud engineering
• Experience with cloud-based database technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization
• Experience with database backup and recovery procedures
• Knowledge of database security and compliance standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
