Position: Mechanical Engineering I (Direct)-Contingent Worker EXECUTIVE SUMMARY -
The Production Support Engineer is responsible for the communication and maintenance of engineering information to the factory, suppliers, and contracted labor. -
This includes consulting on manufacturing process, engineering deviation approval, drawing and bill of material maintenance, and supplier consultation with respect to design intent and manufacturing clarification. Supplier shall perform the following Services under this SOW: -
Item Services Task Name and Description (detail each Services task in a single box) -
B1 Work with NPI (New Product Introduction) and manufacturing teams at Ft. -
Worth site to capture and investigate issues identified during prototype 'rabbit' locomotive development and near-term production (units 2-5) -
B2 Research issues using available computer systems, 3D model interrogation, drawing retrieval system, etc. -
Contact appropriate engineer/team members to verify root cause and solution and escalate as required -
B3 Maintain relationships w/ design engineers and product definition group with emphasis on effective communication utilizing all tools available (modulate based on need to include email, telecon, video call, VR, etc.) -
B4 Communicate findings and possible resolution to responsible Design Engineers and then track same to closure through use of Process Change Request (PCR) module in Reliance Supplier shall provide the following Deliverables under this SOW: |
