Job Title: Senior Associate Scientist - Protein Chemistry

Location: South San Francisco, CA

Duration: 12 months

Skills Needed:

• Bachelor's Degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, life sciences, or other relevant areas with 1-2 years or Master or PHD with 0-1year of experience in wet lab work.
• Experience with protein characterization is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and independently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform protein chemistry experiments such as measuring protein concentration and dilutions.
• Aliquot and label vials containing purified proteins for storage.
• Support vialing of purified protein solutions using bio-microlab instrumentation.
• Handle Occupational Exposure Band (OEB4 and OEB5) compounds safely.
• Prepare solutions and buffers following established SOPs.
• Characterize protein (mAb and ADC) using CE-SDS, Mass Spectrometry, and SEC with training.
• Help track/document service calls for maintenance and instrument repair.
• Document data in an electronic lab notebook.

Note: This is an onsite role, (8am-5pm), requiring the ability to follow written procedures and work with Microsoft Office Suite
