As a JIRA Migration Functional Analyst, you will analyze the impacts of tool changes, identify stakeholders and product impacts resulting from migration from JIRA/MAX.gov to newly identified technologies. This will include researching candidate packages to replace JIRA and MAX.gov functionality and providing recommendations to Veterans Affairs (VA) leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in researching and identifying new solution technologies as well as providing the necessary technical support, administration, development, and implementation management. Must be a service-focused team player who thrives on the opportunity to help government users solve problems and empower change.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years' professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience:
  • Analyzing and designing information systems and software.
  • In an Agile development environment.
  • Stakeholder or client management.
  • Developing and evaluating business needs and processes.
• Knowledge of Jira / Atlassian Product Suite and alternatives.
• Knowledge of MAX.gov solutioning and tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-based monitoring tools.
• Ability to capture, document, and translate systems requirements to business needs.
• Not required but is a "plus" to have experience working with the Veteran's Administration (VA).

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or other relevant/similar field from an accredited university

- OR

• A total of 13 years relevant experience consistent with the above job description and qualifications in lieu of a Bachelor of Science Degree.

CERTIFICATION:

• None required
  • Relevant industry-recognized certification is a plus but not mandatory.
