Position: Scientist - HPLC
Location: Ridgefield, CT
Pay Rate: $42/hr on w2 without benefits
Duration: 2 years
Duties:
- Performs routine lab duties without supervision.
- Designs and executes non-routine experiments on a basis of literature analyses with minimal supervision.
- Performs all work in conformance with applicable regulations.
- Performs all work in a safe manner.
- The primary scope of responsibility is within the immediate analytical lab and secondarily within a multi-disciplinary environment.
Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in HPLC/UV method development and validation for active ingredients.
- Good understanding of established SOPs.
- Industry experience on GxP regulations preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in Waters Empower software.
- Practical familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Plan and conduct laboratory experiments; evaluate, interpret and report technical data.
- Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in an analytical lab in R&D
Education: Master's Degree from an accredited institution with three-plus (3+) years of experience in related scientific discipline, OR Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with seven-plus (7+) years of experience in related scientific discipline or equivalent experience in related field
