Job Details: Position: Shipping Clerk II - Manufacturing (link removed) Location: Richardson, Texas USA 75082. Pay Rate: $18.50/hr. (W2 without benefits) Duration: Temp to Permanent position Estimated Regular Hours/Week: 2nd shift (3.00pm to 11.30pm) Note: OT required - will work until the work is finished. This is an air-conditioned Ware house. Primary Duties: Picking, packaging, completed orders into shipping boxes and processing shipments to customers Receiving and signing for inbound shipments & entering into ERP system Inspect received items for quality, quantity and accuracy Identify and record any errors in receipts including missing and/or damaged goods Stocking incoming materials and ensuring the accuracy of inventory transactions. Replenishing production point of use and warehouse storage locations as needed daily. Picking and kitting electronic components for production Issue materials as per work orders from ERP system Communicating floor shortages/inventory discrepancies to Inventory Control Specialist Perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory Monitoring expected inbound and prep floor / storage locations for expected inbound volume. Ongoing consolidation of materials to free up space. Identifying and reporting of non-conforming materials. Recording of bin transfers to ensure SAP Warehouse management /ERP system location accuracy. Ensuring that empty pallets are sorted and stacked safely and securely. Maintaining a clean and organized work area Adhering to the Company's safety policies and procedures, as well as those set out by OSHA Other duties as assigned Automated and manual picking and packing. Work requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and pushing carts and material for much of the shift. Must be able to lift 70 lbs - sell servers will have to lift from pallet to dolly Most of the items are 5 to 10 LBS - security cameras Must have basic computer skills to use ERP system Must be able to perform repetitive tasks quickly, correctly, and without losing attention. Basic computer experience required. Able to verify quantities and part numbers; distinguish the difference between two part numbers which are very close in appearance and part number nomenclature. Basic Math required (add, subtract, multiply, divide). if they cannot do basic math then they will not do well Ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, high level of concentration for detailed work such as counting, and flexible approach to work assignments. Steel Toed boots required Forklift experience operating a stand up reach forklift and other material handling equipment preferred. Will train and certify them - No forklift drivers only - will use FL about 5% of the day.
