We are looking for an experienced Web Application Firewall Engineer to help advance the security of 1000+ applications used to maintain market integrity and protect investors.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining of the WAF using automation tools such as Java and Python
• Develop tools and products that are used in central automation and contribute to development milestones
• Continually look for ways to innovate and improve testing process to gain efficiencies
• Build solutions and be able to think holistically about engineering challenges and architecture
• Excellent understanding in computer science fundamentals - Algorithm design, Problem solving, Complexity analysis and data structures
• Expert experience in core Computer Science technologies
• Support the planning and execution of the application security testing
• Good communication skills (working directly with the dev. team)

• 3+ Years of Software Development and Web Application Firewall Experience
• Experience working with and managing Web Application Firewall (Cloudflare and AWS WAF)
• Experience in development and automation using: Frontend: HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, Frameworks - Angular/ReactJS, Typescript
• Backend: Java, SpringBoot, Python, SQL, Rest, MicroServices
• Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS: WAF, ALB, CloudFront, CloudFormation, ECS, EC-2, S3, SQS, RDS, SSL/ACP, CloudTrail, Kinesis, SDK - Java, Boto3 - Python, CLI, VPC
• CI/CD: Jenkins - Pipeline, Orchestrator
• Network: DNS - CNAME, A, TXT records, CIDR, NSLookup/Dig, Protocols - HTTP, HTTPS, ICMP, SSL/TLS, Certs
  Version Control: BitBucket, Git
• Splunk: Splunk Queries, Dashboards, Lookup tables
  Atlassian: Jira, Confluence
• Tools: Postman, Fiddler (or other HttpProxy)
• Occasional After-hour support (5-6 times annually)

• Minimum Bachelors in Computer Science or Equivalent
