6-months Contract-to-Hire.  No Visa, C2C or 3^rd party candidates.

Remote role, but candidate may need to come onsite 1-2 times per quarter for meetings. Candidates from PA, NJ or DE states are highly preferred.

Must have skills

• Deep proficiency and hands-on coding/development experience with .NET and SQL Server. Will be asked to look at a code sample and explain how to approach changes or debugging.
• An understanding of concepts such as design patterns and containerization and how to apply them.
• Ability to analyze complex scenarios and data to determine the most scalable and extensible solutions. Should display experience in solving challenging problems.
• Should not need heavy supervision. Once provided with a requirement, should be able to track that requirement to closure including asking any necessary questions.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with a large team including IT managers, Project managers, Technical leads, Business Analysts, QA, and Development

POSITION SUMMARY

Work with BSAs and Tech Leads to understand business needs and complete their assigned tasks. Develop and maintain Applications and APIs built on .NET framework that enable business functionality. Angular JS development experience is a plus. The Developer is expected to work on their assigned tasks that include development, unit test, functional test support, and production implementation. Active participation in daily scrums within the Agile framework is expected.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop software solutions which support business data requirements.
• Ensure compliance with security practices within the DevOps process.
• Participate in on-call support duties and daily scrum meetings.
• Develop web applications using .NET framework.
• Develop web pages within the Angular framework.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and WCF Services.
• Develop and maintain database objects.
• Support application testing and production implementation as required.
• Stay current with industry content management system best practices and standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7⁺ years of relevant work experience in web development or distributed systems integration.
• Highly skilled in ASP.NETMVC, SQL Server, Entity Framework and WCF Services.
• Highly skilled in web interface technologies: HTML, JavaScript, Angular, REST API, SOAP, and XML technologies.
• Advanced understanding and experience in OO design.
• Ability to work within an Agile Methodology.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Adhere to enterprise application architecture policies and standards.
• Adhere to enterprise security standards and practices.
• Strong team player, excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Fast starter and effectively deliver with limited supervision. Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task with several concurrent issues and projects.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Healthcare domain knowledge is a plus.
