Job Title: IT Store Project Manager Location: Hybrid- NYC (2-3 days on-site and 2 days remote) Type: Full-time One of our top clients is looking for an IT Store Project Manager to lead the IT portion of the store projects. This individual will play a key role in supporting the business teams and ensuring store projects are meeting deadlines and budgets, while ensuring the business and operations continuity during and after opening. - Strong project management skills and capability to manage several complex projects in Parallel.
- Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced Retail environment.
Technical Experience and Systems: - Experience leading major IT store projects- openings, renovations, closings, hardware upgrades
- Strong technical knowledge to walk a technician through hardware setup and troubleshooting.
- Experience setting up network printers, scanners, iPhones, laptops, desktops, and network equipment.
- Experience with payment processing, traffic counters, timeclocks, and other retail store systems.
- Maintain documentation and changes.
- Basic Active Directory user creation
- Good understanding and experience with Desktop OS.
- Good understanding of networking and network services. (Firewall, DNS, Routing Protocols, TCP/IP, VLANs and VPNs, VOIP, SIP)
Stores and IT Projects Management - Help building and maintaining an opening/closing/retrofit IT checklist, that will be used as a template for any Maisons store project.
- Be the main point of contact for the Business/Constructions teams for all IT aspects of the store projects.
- Provide status updates and communicate IT timeline and constraints to any level of the company upon request or when deemed necessary.
- Manage vendor relationship for IT contracts at the store location (Internet, Phones, Low Voltage)
- Manage vendors for IT equipment procurement.
- Involve with equipment configuration/preparation and shipping.
- Manage and schedule techs on site for Equipment installation and remediation.
- Build and maintain any necessary/relevant documentation to manage the project more efficiently.
- Provide hyper care support for store openings/closings/renovations and special projects.
- Provide knowledge transfer to the helpdesk team for proper support of the project after completion.
- Travel on site during high visibility store project to assist and ensure smooth IT operations before and during opening.
- Perform hyper care of the store opening on all IT issues raised by the business and IT team around the store projects and coordinate effort with relevant parties to ensure remediation on a timely manner.
- Lead and train technicians, if necessary, in charge of supporting store projects
Procurement and Budgeting - Help to build IT budget and work with the Sr. IT & Security Manager for (re)forecasts.
- Follow closely and control projects charges.
- Maintain the Purchase FG tracker with relevant services/equipment charges.
