Industrial Engineer
Overview of Position
Role Summary
The Industrial Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating, developing, and executing program schedules, process developments, and analysis in various organizational settings regarding internal and external business goals. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop & execute objectives, & have the ability to meet company objectives within the timelines specifically related to your assigned projects.
Essential Responsibilities
Dimensional measurements of parts.
Development of S.O.P's and W.I's.
Conduct Gage R&R and report out results.
Provide metrics to senior managers on process utilization.
Conduct Process Capabilities Studies.
Track FPY requirements and report.
Collect inspection data and run process capability studies
Industrial / Manufacturing engineering support to manufacturing lines.
Process improvements support and CAPA resolutions.
Time and motion study then line balancing.
Material flow and standardization process support.
Daily follow up with projects and interaction with customer.
Vendor engagement for project requirements.
Supporting to continuous improvement process.
Development and implementation of PFD, PFMEA, Control Plans.
Qualifications/Requirements
B.S in Engineering, Technical Practice, or Equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering, quality, or Production and Manufacturing Operations in an Automotive or related industry.
Experience with AIAG, and ISO 9001 Standards
Ability to support the development and execution of Continuous improvement initiatives.
Can coordinate, prepare, and help execute DOE's per the Matrix output.

Strong oral and written communication skills
Capability to work in teams
Plant Simulation Experience. FlexSim or other.
Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
CAD, CREO, or Pro-E proficiency.
