KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide administrative support to the sales team, responsible for being the customer point of contact for billing, sales support and customer solutions.

DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Answer customer phones calls and other communication, coordinating resolution to customer issues with goal of complete customer satisfaction
  • Assist with weekly status reports and monthly analysis of customer requests
  • Assist sales team in managing CRM data input and reporting to ensure the CRM data and pipeline are kept up to date
  • Provide billing, credit and collections assistance to the accounting department
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding sales order entry and issue resolution
  • Communicate customer value propositions ensuring positive customer references
  • Consistent customer account follow up based on customer segmentation
  • Ensure sales team and primary sales representative are kept appraised of customer status
  • Identify new revenue opportunities through a consultative process, passing all leads to the sales team
  • Strong emphasis on customers continued lifecycle and customer experience
  • Foster both internal and external customer relations
  • Work with all levels of personnel and management, including plant and corporate, to achieve customer satisfaction

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 3+ years sales assistant or office administration experience
  • Must be self-motivated and able to make limited and independent judgments based on given alternatives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MSOffice, including strong Excel skills
  • Experience with a CRM, including data input and reporting
  • Analytic skills to quickly and accurately assimilate information making sound business decisions
  • Understand importance of do what you say
