Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. (CIL) is searching for a Sales Administrator, based onsite in our Tewksbury, MA location. Under general supervision, the Sales Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate entering of Domestic and International sales orders and requests for product price quotations into the Company's internal computer system. They will also be responsible for receiving inbound customer phone calls.

Responsibilities

• Enters requests for price quotations and sales orders, per procedure and customer specific requirements, into our internal computer system. Orders are received by phone, fax, e-mail, and website from customers and/or distributors
• Make updates or changes to orders as necessary
• Relying on historical data, process knowledge and judgement, provides additional and/or special handling in response to exception situations. Will inform and/or consult with department management as necessary regarding appropriate course of action
• E-mail order acknowledgements, change orders and completed quotations, as directed by Inside Account Managers
• Supports Inside Account Managers by providing backup during exceptionally busy periods
• Responds to distributor and customer requests for documentation, as directed by Inside Account Managers
• Performs any related work as delegated by the Global Customer Engagement Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
• 2+ years of order entry or related data entry experience preferred. Related experience within a scientific/chemical environment a plus
• Must be PC literate and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Outlook and database systems
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities at once and work within established guidelines, and the ability to follow tasks through to completion
• Must be proactive in resolving issues

In high technology, deuterated organic molecules and deuterium gas are commonly used in the manufacturing of microelectronics and OLEDs, which contribute to the increased lifetime of the devices.
