About the Job

As a Senior Cell Engineer, you will have a hands-on role in scaling and commercializing Anthros revolutionary battery technology. You will develop internal processes and protocols to ensure manufacturability of our devices. At the same time, you will work with vendors and manufacturers around the world to deliver product at scale. You will help harmonize innovation and creativity with scale and economics.

What you will do

• Build, test, and analyze lithium-ion-batteries with an eye towards reproducibility and reliability
  
• Work with external vendors and manufacturers to establish supply chain and manufacturing relationships
• Convert product specifications to manufacturing designs
• Develop and implement quality control protocols
• Conduct high-level technoeconomic analyses of various manufacturing strategies
• Prepare presentations and report on progress at internal meetings
• Work in-person, on-site at Anthros lab in San Jose, and travel to manufacturing locations as-needed

Requirements

• 3+ years in an manufacturing engineering role, with experience in the battery industry
• Comfortable with routine build and test of lithium-ion batteries
• Have experience with commercialization/scale-up of new products and technologies
• Comfortable managing projects between internal and external parties
• An excellent communicator and team player
• Able to manage multiple workflows and projects
• Ambitious, looking to increase your responsibility in a fast growing company
