Overview:

The Data Management Senior Analystfocuses on data creation and maintenance, including updates and deletion, of business data in the SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The Data Management Senior Analyst ensures the accuracy of ERP business data by applying the relevant business data rules, policies and procedures during the data creation or maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Perform complex data entry in SAP and other systems with a high level of speed and accuracy.
  • Gathers data from content owner and transfers data into a standard format for SAP-based ERP system.
  • Understands business data standards, policies and procedures and applies them appropriately to data.
  • Leads audits for compliance and improvement.
  • Conducts investigations to address stakeholder complaints.
  • Makes use of specialized knowledge to assist customers in resolving problems.
  • Assists in the learning of others.
  • Originates and improves technical documents and procedures.
  • Establishes and maintains credibility with the stake holders and co-workers.
  • Makes decisions as necessary to meet team and individual performance objectives with a continual improvement in performance.
  • Identifies alternatives to existing job tasks or processes and offers suggestions for improvement.
  • Studies best practices that can be applied to improve work tasks and processes.
  • Demonstrates self-reflection and solicits feedback from others regarding performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related technical field.
  • Chemical industry experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with SAP.
  • Practitioner of SAP GUI Scripting and mass load tools like MM17, LSMW, MMCOPY
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both local language and English language.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as internet research tools
  • Experience working independently with minimal guidance.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment.
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible working hours.

Comments/Special Instructions:

  • This position falls under ITAR requirements, which include the candidates must be US citizens.
  • 3 days a week in the office at Chestnut Run Plaza.
