Location

Infleqtion has 6 office locations, operating out of Austin, TX; Boulder/Louisville, CO; Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; London, UK; and Melbourne, AU. This position is a full-time, hybrid position which will be located in our Louisville, CO office.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Contracts and Proposals, the Senior Contracts Manager is responsible for all activities in the organizations contracts administration function and manages the contract administration staff. The ideal candidate should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on highly complex contracts negotiation and analytical work related to the companys contracting policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages, leads, and mentors team members; Coordinates the work of, and assists in the training of, other contract administrators
  • Directs and develops policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff and provide guidance on contract terms
  • Manages outgoing and incoming contracts from customers, clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the life of the contract from contract proposal stage, negotiation, award, maintenance, amendments, and contract close-out
  • Reviews contract estimates, including proposed materials, production costs, license terms, etc. and determine whether they seem reasonable and accurate by coordinating with internal requesting departments including engineering, software, real-estate, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, communications, marketing, business development, and finance
  • Leads negotiations for complex or high-value contracts
  • Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility
  • Resolves escalated issues arising from operations and partners with other department key stakeholders as needed

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field from an accredited college
  • 8+ years of contract administration experience
  • 3+ years of managerial experience
  • 3+ years of direct experience negotiating contracts with DoD agencies as well as with DoD prime contractors
  • Knowledge of US Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) including those regulations specific to the Department of Defense
  • Government and Commercial (domestic and international desirable) contracts experience
  • Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
  • Deep knowledge of contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, influence, and mentor others, even if not direct reports
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new and complex topics quickly; Passion for solving complex problems and challenges in a highly technical and scientific environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work comfortably in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, team-oriented, and matrixed environment
  • Desire and demonstrated ability to thrive and produce results in a fluid, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial drive, intellectual agility, and personal eagerness to develop with the needs of the business
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, energetic individuals with strong problem-solving and technical skills

  • Ability to travel domestically and (potentially) internationally up to 10%
  • A current DoD clearance and/or SCI access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position, however applicant must be willing and eligible for submission within 60-90 days after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access
  • This role requires that you do not require sponsorship or a work visa transfer
  • This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Please note that any offer for employment may be conditioned on authorization to receive software or technology controlled under these U.S. export control laws and regulations without sponsorship for an export license.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager
  • A current, active TS/SCI security clearance preferred

Benefits

This position pays $140,000 to $170,000 per year (salary range is under final review and will be posted soon)
