Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer/Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to provide technical leadership and support to our cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based architectures, including but not limited to, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS).

• Ensure the scalability, availability, and security of our cloud-based systems, using best practices and industry standards.
• Develop cloud solutions that leverage containerization and orchestration patterns to facilitate streamlined deployments.
• Monitor the companys cloud privacy in collaboration with IT security.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the high availability and performance of our cloud-based systems.
• Work closely with the development and operations teams to optimize cloud-based systems' performance and cost-effectiveness.

• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including data protection and privacy regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, with hands-on experience in at least one of the major cloud providers, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. (Certification with cloud providers is a plus)
• Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures, networking, security, and automation.

• Cloud certification with Azure/AWS/GCP highly preferred.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with infrastructure such as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience with serverless computing, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
