ARServices is seeking a Senior Management Analyst to support Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Indian Head, MD Command Operations. This position is located primarily in Indian Head, MD.

Principal Duties

  • Provide management support to include supporting the development and completion of reports, Command presentations/other deliverables and supporting the execution of day-to-day management procedures and priorities.
  • Support and facilitate the analysis of functions, capabilities and resource requirements in personnel management, Command operations, organizational structure and business/strategic planning for NSWC IHD.
  • Work closely with NSWC IHD staff to analyze business operations and workload trends, identify strategic planning recommendations and priorities, and document planning progress and goals regarding Command programs, workload, and strategic planning.
  • Applies knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by the program manager and customers.
  • Devises solutions to problems relating to improvement of management effectiveness, organizational structures, work methods and procedures efficiency, and resource requirements, utilization or control.
  • Develops and drafts program or project milestones; compiles, documents and analyzes metrics in support of command level mission requirements and operations.
  • Provides management, budgeting support, and financial analysis services as required.
  • Conduct work measurement studies, program or project operations efficiency reviews, cost studies, or workload change impact analyses.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business, technical or related field from an accredited college or university with at least 10 years of relevant experience. High School diploma and a total of fifteen (15) years of directly applicable professional experience may be substituted for the degree.
  • SECRET Clearance
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) policies and directives.
  • Must have ability to analyze and prepare documentation and possess the ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification
  • Fundamental understanding of U.S. Navy organizational structure and operations
  • Prior experience working within the NAVSEASYSCOM environment.
