As a Senior Research Engineer at OPPO US AI-Lab, you will be working on developing computer vision algorithms for mobile devices and cloud services.

Duties and responsibilities

• Work in a collaborative environment to develop cutting-edge deep learning algorithms for computer vision applications, including but not limited to video understanding, video enhancement, image segmentation, diffusion models, video captioning, video generation from text, etc.
• Work in designing, training, evaluating, optimizing, and deploying deep learning models for mobile use cases.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
• Strong mathematical foundation in machine learning and deep learning.

• Track record of developing demanding deep learning algorithms and applications.
• Experience in developing computer vision CNN models.
• Experience with at least one of the deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, and MXNet.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Java, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in deploying deep learning algorithms on mobile platforms
• Experience in quantization for deep learning models.
• Publications in top tier international conferences and journals, such as CVPR/ECCV/ICCV/NeurIPS/ICLR/PAMI/IJCV/ICASSP, etc.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$200,000 + bonus + long term incentives benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
