  • Maintain, administer, and upgrade assigned applications with a special emphasis on Fiserv DNA.
  • Maintain, administer, and upgrade the credit unions database infrastructure (Oracle and MS SQL) with a special emphasis on Oracle as it relates to Fiserv products.
  • Plan and design growth of application infrastructure and work cross-functionality with the network and server administration teams.
  • Monitor, maintain, & troubleshoot performance of physical hosts, virtual machines, and storage across the application infrastructure.
  • Proactively identify performance problems and provide solutions for remediation.
  • Work on trouble tickets for assigned systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and proactively share knowledge to improve the team.
  • Proactively maintain and resolve Operating System issues for both UNIX and Windows based servers via the ability to write scripts and other O/S maintenance best practices.

This position will require a minimum of 3 days per week on-site at our Chelmsford, MA office and other days will be flexible to work off-site. #LI-Hybrid

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of expert knowledge in Fiserv DNA or other core banking systems.
  • 3-5 years of expert database administration knowledge focused on Oracle and MS SQL.
  • 1-2 years of Windows and LINUX (RHEL) experience related to running core applications.
  • Planning and designing growth of back-end application server infrastructure focused on performance, cost, and high-availability.
  • Be able to anticipate, identify, and remediate performance problems issues.
  • Nice to have 1-2 years in enterprise VMware vSphere / ESX distributed enterprise using ESXi clusters; Cloud experience a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with enterprise Storage Area Networks, HP Lefthand, Store Virtual.
  • Flexibility is a must with the proven ability to learn new technologies in a fast-moving environment.
  • Leadership skills to mentor junior staff.
  • Ability to work with and coordinate among several vendors.
  • Certifications a plus, especially Microsoft, RHEL, Oracle, and VMware
