We seek a results-focused, innovative, customer-centric well-qualified individual to join our talented work team as an Equipment Service Repair Technician. Based out of our Torrington Connecticut location, you will provide outstanding customer-facing technical and repair support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing Dymax curing and dispensing equipment.

You will:

  • Determine the cause of equipment failure through root cause analysis, developing corrective actions
  • Conduct repair and refurbishment of equipment, and by establishing and making future avoidance recommendations
  • Provide exemplary, resolution-focused service by promptly responding to inquiries with customers and client companies
  • Support global repair centers by drafting, perfecting, and sharing repair and user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and technical service bulletins
  • Maintain accurate, an up-to-date documentation database of active cases, warranty claims, call logs, and resolutions
  • Routinely publish reports of recently resolved cases and trending issues, and by recommending actions or escalations

Requirements


  • Associates of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (ASEE) or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience with diagnostics, repair, and troubleshooting electromechanical, optoelectrical or photonic equipment
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and procedures
  • Precise, detail-oriented, but with thirst for understanding and trying new things.
  • Must interface with customers and client companies frequently; pleasant and engaging manner essential

Salary Range: $54,000--$65,000


Dymax takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Dymax salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of Dymaxs total compensation packages for employees.
