Advanced Automation Corporation (AAC) is currently seeking to fill a Spanish-English Proofreader / Quality Assurance Specialist position. This position is fully remote with flexible hours as a 1099. We are seeking a dedicated, organized Spanish-English Proofreader to help us review Spanish and English curriculum data (consisting of assessments, lessons and practical exercises). The candidate must be highly knowledgeable in both English and Spanish, detail-oriented and eager to work with short deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Transfer data from various sources into the new database
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update databases or records with new information as it becomes available
- Correct and modify inaccurate files and records
- Comply with security backups and regular checks to ensure data is saved and stored properly
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Able to quickly and accurately review and proofread data
- Excellent command of English and Spanish, both oral and written
- Basic understanding of databases
- Ability to work within recognized turnaround times
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience in QA
- Master's Degree or higher
