The Role: We are looking for a mission-driven Software Engineer Interns in several teams. Front End, Backend, Threat Detection/Security, AI/ML, QA. Our stack, front to back: React, Python, Angular, Asp .Net Core, GraphQL, REST, Node.js, Java, ECS, PostgresSQL, AWS.
You'll work with us to build reliable systems to issue physical cards, invest in stocks or crypto, process online and offline payments, guard against fraudulent transactions, categorize customers into high and low risk all at Internet scale under demanding latency constraints. You will work closely with counterparts to design and build supporting application logic that will power our core products and consumer experience. While Zaden HQ is in Minneapolis, MN, this role is hybrid.
Team to make an impact:
- Our Front End team builds user interfaces that are intuitive, accessible, performant and reliable using modern frontend tech stack for mobile such as React, React Native for Android/iOS. ideation, to implementation, to testing, and production release
- Our Backend Team Implements new and existing consumer product features and develops software in a production environment. Build strong, resilient APIs that power our applications
- With our security team you will utilize big data and real-time streaming technologies to build and refine threat detections, Security Response & Investigations
- Our AI/ML team works with machine learning and data science experts to productize cutting-edge predictive systems and build secure APIs
- In the QA team you will develop release guidelines & process, ensuring customer facing products are shipped with highest quality
Requirements
Who you are:
- You have experience working with external APIs and integrations
- You have production experience designing and shipping highly reliable backend systems and APIs and exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale mobile or web applications
- Youre excited to lead projects through setting technical direction and mentoring those around you - and have experience doing so in previous projects
- Youre passionate about engineering and operational excellence and a champion of monitoring and observability
- You have sharp product intuition and abundant empathy for the end user and motivated by working on products that create customer impact
