We are looking for a robust Sr. Data Scientist with statistical background who has experience Marketing Analytics/Sciences, First party data sources in the Marketing ecosystem, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate the analytics approach and how it will meet and address objectives to business partners.
• Advocate and educate on the value of data-driven decision-making; focus on the how and why of solutions.
• Lead analytic approaches; integrate solutions collaboratively into applications and tools with data engineers, business leads, analysts, and developers.
• Create repeatable, interpretable, dynamic, and scalable models seamlessly incorporated into analytic data products.
• Collaborate, coach, and learn with a growing team of experienced Data Scientists.
• Stay connected with external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements.
• Support demands from regulators, investor relations, etc., to develop innovative solutions to meet objectives utilizing cutting-edge techniques and tools.

Requirements

• Masters or Ph.D. in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 7-9 years of extensive experience with exposure to Marketing Analytics/Sciences, First party data sources in the Marketing ecosystem, etc. apply seasonality adjustments, incorporate exogenous variables, etc.

• Strong statistics foundation and knowledge of statistical packages in any coding language. Proficiency with Python and SQL and ability to write complex SQL queries.

• CPG/Retail experience is required
• Strong data science fundamentals (regressions, promo optimization exp, if at all -Bayesian hierarchical models would be a great plus)
• RGM/TPM (Revenue Growth Management/Trade Promotion Managment) experience would be a great plus.

• Ability to use Marketing data as input to models. Hands-on experience building models is a must.

• Data Visualization in Tableau (design, develop, publish, and automate Tableau dashboards).

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to understand business partner needs and deliver solutions.
