We are hiring Seasonal, Part-Time and Full-time Team Support Teachers for our Summer Programs at our Infant & Toddler Centers across our 10 Bay Area Locations!

As a Team Support Teacher for Infant & Toddler Summer Program, you will be responsible for assisting in any of the classrooms within your center and taking on the tasks of the primary teacher, including guiding children through our exciting, newly updated curriculum and engaging the them in developmentally appropriate activities, like art, bubbles, circle time, and exploratory play to foster a love of learning early on. You will have strong classroom management, parent relations, and most of all, you'll have fun with the children!

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the highest quality of care, safety and well-being of all children
  • Designing the physical environment to meet the changing needs of young children
  • Demonstrating verbally and by role modeling a sound knowledge of child growth and development and by implementing developmentally appropriate teaching practices
  • Actively attending and participating in staff meetings and ongoing trainings
  • Providing information to parents on a daily basis regarding their children
  • Assisting with diapering, feeding, and self-care routines of children as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by Lead Teachers, Director or Assistant Directors
  • Working together as a team with your fellow teaching staff

Compensation: $18- 28/hr. depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.

Requirements

  • 12 ECE Units preferred
  • Havent taken child development classes? NO problem! We will train you AND help you get through your core Child Development classes!
  • Experience with children preferred
  • A love and passion for working with young children
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A reliable, can-do attitude
  • An eagerness to learn and grow!
