A very well run, well established Title Company is looking for an experienced Closing Coordinator with strong skills in Processing a file. This includes, ordering payoffs, water bills, packaging a file out, scanning files into software, sending out closing notices, scheduling files, ordering lender packages and working Settlement Statements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. [Other duties may be assigned]
- Review of Title Commitment for clearance items
- Update and Confirm Taxes
- Obtain Payoffs and Subordinations
- Order Deeds and Surveys
- Clear judgments and other items identified on the title commitment
- Schedule closing dates, location, and time
- All other duties as assigned by Closing Coordinators and Management
Qualification Standards/Required Knowledge: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Good reading and comprehension skills
- Good organizational and multi- tasking skills
- Proven customer service skills
- Proficiency with personal computers
- Must have problem solving capabilities and a sense of urgency
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Practical work experience within real estate industry or vendor management service company
- Working knowledge of real estate titles
