The Digital Identity Security Architect's role is responsible for leading the technical design and implementation of digital identity and governance architectures into VERSES software. This is a robust role, reporting to the CTO, you will define and own the roadmap for integrating state of the art technologies and frameworks that enable the highest degree of trust, interoperability, privacy, and security between a heterogeneous mix of hardware and software systems.

Requirements

a/k/a Your Mission

Act as subject-matter expert across all IAM topics related to both cloud, on-premise, customer, and colleague enterprise technology, and the relationship between the architectures.
Drive adoption of Authentication and Authorization reference architectures for existing and emerging IAM technologies.
Create, maintain company policies and protocols that align with industry best practices and business needs in the adoption of digital identity.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and recommend remedial actions.
Provide guidance and leadership internally and with partners and other stakeholders
Spearhead or contribute to the development of standards, specifications, and protocols around digital identity, data security, federated governance, privacy, and related topics.
Deliver robust technical security configuration architecture expertise in implementing cross-organizational information sharing.
Interpreting identity and access management strategies and direction. Bringing together key tenets of Information Security to the IAM cloud strategies and developing technical security solutions that properly align.

Great to Haves

Experience with deploying solutions or shipping products that incorporate Digital Identity architectures such as Decentralized Identifiers, Verifiable Credentials, Self Sovereign Identity, Zero Knowledge Proofs, Zero Trust, Privacy-by-Design and other comparable areas in Privacy and Security.
Intimate familiarity with IAM related protocols and technologies such as Hyperledger Indy, Sovrin, DID, DIDComm, DIDKit, OpenID Connect, OAuth, SAML, PKI, SAML, SPML, XACML, SCIM, OpenID, and OAuth.
Deep knowledge of Privacy and Security concepts, regulations, and compliance requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, NIST, ISO, and others.
Experience architecting IAM solutions within Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and, preferably, other cloud providers. Understanding of IAM and PAM architectures including familiarity with Sailpoint IdentityNow and Cyberark Privileged Cloud
Deep understanding of cloud computing architecture, technical design and implementations, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery models.

Bachelor's degree (Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred) or 5+ equivalent years of applied experience
Relevant security / industry certifications and knowledge of SOC, KYC, AMC, ISO and NIST security standards preferred
Knowledge about API design standards, patterns and best-practices. Hands-on experience in API management platforms
Experience with LDAP platforms such as Active Directory
Ability to convey ideas effectively through verbal and written communication

Even Better

Understanding of various Distributed Ledger Technologies such as blockchains, hashgraphs, DAGs, Holochain, Tangles
Experience managing and operating identity access platforms like Okta or CyberArk
Experience designing integrations between SaaS platforms and Atlassian products

The pay range for our roles are market based and commensurate with multiple factors. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws;
