We are looking for a Valet Location Manager to join TransWest's Hospitality Team in Seattle and support Red Carpet Valet!

The Valet Location Manager manages the valets serving our clients valet and parking needs. Through planning and preparation, the Valet Location Manager will oversee the operations of all defined valet locations and events, including scheduling, communicating service needs and expectations, holding valet huddles, ensuring required staffing needs are met and handling changes both proactively and reactively. Key responsibilities including training, coaching, and supporting a team of Valets and Parking Attendants to ensure safety and customer service are at the forefront of our service, while partnering with the Senior Valet Operations Manager to hold Team Members accountable to high levels of service and safety, utilizing KPI reporting that helps measure the success of our service deliverables.

The Valet Locations Manager is expected to lead by example, exemplifying the Hospitality Teams service model while working directly with a team of Valets to ensure our solutions meet our clients needs and exceed their expectations to help enhance customer retention.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure the successful day-to-day operations of all valet services at assigned locations and events.
  • Develop and lead a team of Valets and Parking Attendants that represent the highest level of customer service within each client location or event.
  • Manage, plan, schedule, train, coach and direct the activities of on-site Valets, Valet Leads, and Parking Attendants; ensuring proper documentation is completed when required.
  • Hold regular meetings with your team, both individual and in group settings to reiterate safety and service expectations.
  • Responsible for payroll reporting; ensure sign off on hours in timely manner; work closely with the Senior Valet Operations Manager to ensure proper wage and hour compliance.
  • Maintain the daily systems needed for successful operation at valet locations, including equipment, tickets, audit sheets and signage.
  • Identify high potential Team Members to support the organizations continued growth and individual Team Member development.
  • Conduct on-location observations of Valets to ensure all TransWest safety and service principles are upheld and exercised continually.
  • Execute a plan for the opening of any newly assigned locations, including but not limited to valet sourcing, training, scheduling, planning, and safety.
  • Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between TransWest and our clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key location contacts to manage operational needs as they arise, ensuring updates are communicated to the Client Relations Team.
  • Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation of assigned locations and events.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Washington State Drivers License or able to obtain a Washington State Drivers License within 30 days of start date or transfer.
  • Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
  • 2+ Years of supervisory or management experience required.
  • Ability to be flexible in schedule in order to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Required to work outdoors, which may include inclement weather.

Salary: $66k- $75k DOE
