Overview:

The Senior Solutions Engineer supports acquisition of new logos, pre-sales activities for Channel partnerships, and cross/upsell functions within existing client base. This key role works across multiple business units with primary partnership to the Sales, Channel, and Account Management teams. Measurabl Solutions Engineers support strategic and technical demos to prospects and design solutions, ensuring a high quality experience for commercial real estate firms to solve ESG challenges.

This role supports pre-sales activities (discovery, solution design, demo, technical account planning, etc) across multiple product lines. This is not just a demo role. Our Account teams conduct the majority of early stage demonstrations. Solutions Engineers are strategic resources deployed to solve complex use cases and serve as the technical liaison between our product team and customers. This role should be able to translate technical functionality and the platform advantage to a wide range of buyer personas, from Property Managers to Executive Suite. Solutions Engineers also are experts working internally at Measurabl to influence product enhancements based on market demands.

Desired outcomes include increased revenue, a shortened average sale cycle, decreased customer acquisition costs, as well as improved customer satisfaction in the sales experience, onboarding and implementation, reducing churn downstream.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Contribute to sales scripts, participate in net-new and potential channel partner (new or existing) discovery, share knowledge expertise, and guide solution development/deployment
  • Develop internal reusable solutions (tools, demos, assets) to increase sales and account management efficiency and productivity
  • Thoroughly understand all aspects of Measurabls product lines in order to explain the technology and services to all types of users
  • Solution complex use cases and explain them in laymans terms to potential New Business and Channel Partner (Measurabl customers)
  • Be the prospects trusted advisor to ensure they get the correct value out of Measurabl
  • Help eliminate bottlenecks by working cross-functionally (Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Field Operations, Engineering) in order to get deals across the line
  • Work closely with Enterprise and SMB (non-strategic account) prospects and potential Channel Partners technical and security teams
  • Work closely with Enterprise and SMB (non-strategic account) prospects and potential Channel Partners on Integrations using flat files or APIs
  • Complete business cases, RFPs, proposals, SOWs, and questionnaires in the context of sales and account management cycles when applicable for New Business (non-strategic accounts) and Channel Partners
  • Coordinate with Customer Success, Professional Services Delivery and Field Technology and Operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff from sales or account management to the respective teams, ensuring we exceed customer expectations in deliverables and communications
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Product Management and Engineering to learn how to sell our solutions and give feedback from the field
  • Keep current on product releases and product roadmap features in order to provide guidance and training to current reps and new hires
  • Maintain accurate CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce) accounts, contacts, and activities
  • Supports GTM projects when needed, which may include creation of pre and post-sales content to support GTM activities, participation during internal GTM training with internal teams
  • Continuously grow your knowledge of products, industry, and competition
  • Attend Industry Events and Tradeshows. Publically speak on relevant topics as requested.
  • Travel (up to 30%) at times.
  • Effective use of Google Suite products, Zoom, Salesforce, Slack, Gong, PandaDocs and other applications. Proficiency with Mac iOS
  • Returns all voicemail messages and emails promptly
  • Timely completes all internal training, retains information, and passes required quizzes
  • Regularly reviews completed calls and looks for area of improvement
  • Provide coaching and professional development to sales team personnel in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • BA/BS degree in business, computer science or related technical field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 4 to 6 years of SaaS enterprise software sales engineering or other relevant work experience
  • Proven sales experience as a Solution or Pre-Sales Engineer, or Technical Role in a SaaS organization
  • Experience selling or working with ESG Data for commercial real estate is a plus
  • Experience with security and privacy pertaining to SaaS systems.
  • Understanding of API, FTP, SSO.
  • B2B and Commercial Real Estate Sales experience preferred
  • Excellent computer and business software skills required
  • Experience translating technical/engineering documents into layman's terms and work with machine learning models preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills required

  • Able to make the complex sound simple!
  • Strong computer skills: Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, Salesforce, Gong, PandaDocs, and Microsoft Office products preferred
  • Experience monitoring and successfully achieving team objectives and key results
  • A combination of professional or educational experience (whether formal or informal) that affords you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities above

Compensation Range:

  • $132,826 to $162,343+DOE plus commissions
