Required 8 years of experience as QA Tester. Role Overview: Constructs automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence. Technologies: SQL queries, test automation applications, Application Lifecycle Management systems Responsibilities include:
- Document and implement test strategies, plans, processes and standards, covering functional and non functional areas of the application.
- Verify the system's conformance to defined user stories, functional requirements.
- Define the scope and schedule of User Acceptance test phases. Identify and confirm participants. Reserve resources for conducting sessions.
- Perform non functional testing resulting in usability data.
- Prepare material for and lead user acceptance test sessions.
- Investigate test outcome and raise requirements' ambiguities and defects using established processes.
- Prioritize system defect fixes and enhancements.
- Assist business analysts to clarify requirements' ambiguities; Raise and monitor requirements' ambiguities.
- Elicit subject matter expert expectations on the behavior of the system.
- Perform complex analysis of data emanating from the SESIS application.
- Establish and maintain traceability between data points emanating from the field, test cases and requirements/design documents.
- Generate test data.
- Review the requirements and designs and ensure their correctness, accuracy, clarity and completeness by actively engaging Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts, and Developers.
- Create and maintain configuration notes for the testing environments.
- Utilize Microsoft Project and Microsoft SharePoint for documenting all outcomes, for reporting progress to management, and for collaborating with team members.
- Utilize HPQC for raising and prioritizing defects.
