The Norstella Sr. Director of Product Operations is responsible for the overall alignment of key activities and milestones across the global product management function. Working closely with product teams across Norstella business units as well as other cross-functional stakeholders, this person will ensure coordination and transparency to our overarching product performance objectives. This includes but is not limited to roadmap alignment, product lifecycle insights, and ongoing operational communications and reporting mechanisms. This person will also have responsibility for guiding the prioritization and development of Norstellas next generation product development platform, charged with providing a unified cross-product experience for both product development teams and ultimately Norstella clients.

Responsibilities

  • Aligning roadmaps and strategic product priorities across Norstella business units.
  • Streamline communication across product and business units to facilitate early product innovation processes as well as launch activities, such as go / no-go decisions.
  • Working closely with business units and support functions, map key investments and performance metrics
  • Work closely across commercial and product marketing to sharpen go-to-market strategies and improve the overall customer experience
  • Align Norstella business units across a common product language, metric set, decision framework and launch process.
  • Develop and maintain a global product master to support cross-BU innovation, solution packaging and pricing objectives.
  • Provide ongoing product / user insights across Norstella product lifecycle
  • Working closely with technology leadership, drive the prioritization, enablement and adoption of Norstellas next gen product development platform.
  • And other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years in multi-product line product management / product ops / product marketing roles
  • 3+ years in a senior product management role at a fast-paced, highly customer-centric SaaS and/or data products environment. Will have brought to market multiple product offerings over a very short amount of time.
  • Excellent communicator and ability to manage across a broad stakeholder set including product, technology, commercial and delivery
  • Ability to manage multiple, often times competing, priorities.
  • Excellent at simplifying and synthesizing complex and disparate data sets
  • Excellent at implementing and sustaining operational programs to accelerate collaboration and execution
  • Highly resourceful. Can influence across a broad set of stakeholders. With a strong data-centric approach, capably designs and implements frameworks that facilitate prioritization and decision making
  • Thrives collaborating and influencing across product teams, business units and commercial teams in an effort to maximize go-to-market efficacy in matters such as pricing, positioning, voice of customer, product-market fit, etc.

Bonus points if you have experience in:

  • Life sciences / pharma experience strongly preferred
  • Will have developed and/or implemented product operations in similar complex multi-product line and/or multi-BU landscape

Travel: < 25%

Location: Hybrid willing to occasionally travel as needed to various Norstella offices

    The expected base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $205,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
