Position Summary:

Softheon is looking for a VP of Government Sales who is willing to take initiative, loves interacting with people both internally and externally and is looking to explore new frontiers. As the VP of Government sales you will have the opportunity to work with many different people within Softheon. This role assists supporting our government team by developing and facilitating proposal processes including budget and pricing, contract negotiations, client presentations and sales prospecting. Requirements

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Proactive and business development-oriented leader that can develop, deploy, and lead a best of class business solution that can unlock the full market potential of our suite of products and solutions nationally.
  • Lead RFP / RFI process including writing, Q/A, and delivery.
  • Refine Softheon value proposition to coordinate, identify, and drive new opportunities.
  • Define individual and overall sales and revenue strategy and objectives.
  • Provide oversight of marketing team by turning leads into real prospects through thoughtful presentations, exceptional demonstrations, use of marketing technologies and tools and other touch points that identify clients buying needs.
  • Help define and expand Softheons branding presence within the healthcare marketplace.
  • Serve as the lead external relations advocate by listening and understanding clients and articulating a vision of how Softheon can address those challenges.
  • Establish realistic timelines and goals.
  • Measure and track major milestones and accomplishments in CRM system.
  • Close sales with Government clients and turn closed sales to appropriate operational team members.
  • Identify business partners which will help advance Softheons value proposition to the Government marketplace.
  • Oversee and implement full sales cycle, including market research, needs analysis, pitch, closing, renewal, and upsell.
  • Establish and achieve sales goals, metrics, and milestones and track and report on progress and success.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time is required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree is required.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, with a strong focus in Government healthcare sector.
  • Experience with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid products and services, ancillary products, and Marketing compliance is a must.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google AdWords and Analytics, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter Ads, WordPress, Salesforce, and Adobe Campaign is a must.
  • Comfort in health insurance products.
  • Exceptional sales leadership skills and strong negotiation skills are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently manage numerous high priority projects at the same time.
  • Comfort making decisions and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
