We are in the process of staffing a Virtual Digital Marketing and Content Specialist where a client needs someone to handle the following responsibilities. As a Digital Marketing and Content Specialist, you will play a key role in creating eye-catching graphics for social media, managing the Pinterest and Meta business Facebook page, and creating and managing the newsletter. You will also be responsible for creating email funnels and assisting with researching and writing articles. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects as needed. The ideal candidate is a good writer, intuitively organized, and has experience in digital marketing and social media management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create visually appealing graphics for social media using Canva, ensuring alignment with the brand identity and messaging.
  • Manage the Pinterest account, scheduling graphics with links to corresponding blog posts to drive engagement and traffic.
  • Manage the Meta business Facebook page, scheduling graphics with links to corresponding blog posts to increase visibility and reach.
  • Create and manage the newsletter, distributing it at least twice a month with the goal of increasing frequency to weekly.
  • Create email funnels using ConvertKit to nurture leads and drive conversions.
  • Assist with researching and writing articles for the WordPress site, ensuring high-quality and informative content.
  • Collaborate with the team on various projects as needed to support the marketing and business goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital marketing and social media management (a must).
  • Proficiency in using platforms such as Google Office Suite, WordPress, ConvertKit, Canva, Instagram, and Pinterest.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative in identifying opportunities and implementing solutions.
  • Intuitively organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Location: Remote (Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zone)
  • Hours: Part-time (5 hours per week, with availability to increase as needed)
