General Summary

As Staff Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the success of the product within a significant area of concern. You will require limited weekly guidance while translating ideas into strategy and features, facilitating product development from start to finish. You will coordinate with engineering, design, marketing and other teams to drive customer outcomes that deliver business impact. You will report to the VP, Product Development and serve as their partner to mentor other emerging PMs within our business.

Core Functions

  • Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify market trends and user needs.
  • Develop product roadmaps that align with our company goals. Communicate them to inspire and align stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams of engineers, designers, and analysts to continually ship incremental value to our customers.
  • Partner with go-to market teams in marketing, sales, and customer success to drive adoption and success of launched solutions.
  • Outline clear OKRs and test/rollout plans, report on post-launch performance, revenue and engagement metrics, learnings and next steps.
  • Ensure projects are launched on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Partner with front lines team members to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the product and provide guidance to other teams as needed.
  • Mentor other product managers and serve as a domain leader within our community of practice to drive improved decision making portfolio-wide.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the tech industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong product sense.
  • Ability to align work with business objectives and make appropriate tradeoffs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Degrees are not required and we value all forms of continued education including traditional four-year degrees, post-graduate degrees, associates degrees, bootcamps, online training, professional certifications, self-teaching and more.

Desired Qualifications

    • Experience managing and/or mentoring a team of Product Managers.
    • Experience in both start up and scale up environments.
    • Familiarity and enthusiasm for the fitness space.

We seek those who value in-person collaboration and are willing to do so at our Louisville, CO office on a weekly cadence in accordance with the needs of the role and team. While some opportunities can be fully-remote, there is a minimum expectation of traveling to the Louisville, CO office for essential company events a few times per year. Compensation

Peaksware/TrainingPeaks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $107,042 - $178,403. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment that is well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned with adequate ventilation and a noise level that is usually moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
