Requirements

Strategic Sourcing Manager: This is where you come in.

Were looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to research, develop and manage strategic supply and service partners to achieve the objectives of the overall business. You will collaborate with business unit leaders and preconstruction teams to forecast and optimize our regional sourcing needs. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • Build value driven supplier and service partnership agreements with a focus on risk management, quality standards, delivery terms and cost effectiveness that supports the overall organization.
  • Be a value-add business partner by developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and proactively collaborate to ensure optimal performance, and alignment.
  • Analyze and evaluate market data for trends in supply, delivery, and pricing to determine present and future product availability to recommend timely sourcing solutions to stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage communication strategies and reports that will proactively inform stakeholders of market conditions affecting the supply chain and potential effects on the business.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high performing procurement sourcing team and processes that meet objectives, and that deliver best practice results through continuous improvement.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager role reports to Scott McGraw Director of Procurement on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

You should have

  • A track record of maintaining up to date knowledge on sourcing trends and market data
  • Expertise leveraging and building supplier and service relationships that are a value add to an organization
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain, or a closely aligned field and four years of experience in purchasing /sourcing or procurement
  • Two years of experience supervising or leading preferred

  • Extremely adaptable in any situation
  • Positive with a can-do attitude
  • A strong communicator

And you should be motivated by

  • Building strong and lasting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and leading by example

Benefits

Compensation: 125,000-165,000 annually
