As the Assistant Preschool Director, job duties include but are not limited to: supporting and coaching the staff, offering premium customer service for the parents/families, ensuring the highest quality of care to the children in our center, enrolling new children, offering support to the director wherever needed, and being a positive leader with a heart-centered approach.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the highest quality of care, safety and well-being of all children, staff, and families
• Demonstrating verbally and by role modeling a sound knowledge of child growth and development
• Helping to schedule a fully-staffed center and maintain appropriate student-to-teacher ratios
• Actively contributing in staff meetings and ongoing trainings
• Providing families with optimal customer service
• Other duties as assigned by Director

Compensation: $25-30/hr. depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.

Requirements

• B.A. or A.A, or equivalent experience, with at least 12 ECE Units required
• 3 years of early childhood teaching experience required
• 1 year of educational leadership experience preferred
• Must take initiative and have a "take charge" attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to multitask
• Communicate effectively with emotional intelligence
• A love and passion for working with young children
• An eagerness to learn and grow!
