The Assistant Warehouse Manager is a position on Wassermans Experiential Team with responsibility for the successful day-to-day operations of the 17,000 SF warehouse in Irving, TX.

The Assistant Warehouse Manager will contribute to the Departments operations, processes, budgeting, agency quality control, third-party supplier management as well as continually reviewing and updating the operation of the warehouse.

General:

  • Performs day-to-day operations of Wassermans 17,000 SF warehouse
  • Coordinates freight and package shipping to and from warehouse
    • Works directly with event project managers as part of event teams
    • Maintains inventory and logs all inbound and outbound shipments
    • Facilitates shipments for Brands & Properties teams
  • Updates inventory management system
  • Operates a forklift proficiently and safely
  • Coordinates with other US warehouse staff regularly
  • Needs to be familiar with tools and warehouse/packaging supplies to stock and organize road kits
  • Assists warehouse manager in restocking supplies and tools on a regular basis
  • Communicates with event producers on the condition of existing assets
  • Performs basic repairs or improvements to exhibit assets, crates, pallets, warehouse racking and shelving
  • Assists with any vendor work performed at the warehouse
  • Potential to assist onsite at Dallas-based marketing activation events
  • Creates a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment based on the company culture and values
  • Ensures that all project processes and procedures are completed and quality standards are met
  • Ensures consistent positive working relationships with production, brands and client service team members

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree
  • 2+ years relevant experience in logistics or warehouse environment
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, work on multiple projects simultaneously and achieve deadlines
  • Possesses strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must thrive in a fast paced environment and possess a can-do attitude continuously
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Must be comfortable working as a partner to all Wasserman team members
  • Needs to be a focused, strong-minded individual with ambition to help grow the company
